Shorewood High School Associate Principal Amanda Jamerson has been named the 2026 National High School Assistant Principal of the Year, an honor presented by the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP) at the organization’s annual National Education Leadership Awards (NELA) event on April 17.

The district has provided them with a strong, supportive education that’s preparing our older kids for college, career, and beyond. The teachers have consistently gone above and beyond, ensuring our children feel supported academically and personally.

We moved to Shorewood for the schools after it became apparent that our oldest child was not going to be able to receive the reading/writing intervention he needed at his (then) current school.
